Reinstating the compounds and access roads
If the trial HDD is used for the main pipeline, we would look to maintain the compounds and access roads. The retention ponds would be emptied, filled in and any by-product removed in the intervening time and all plant and machinery would be removed.
If the trial HDD is unsuccessful and/or if the Development Consent Order for the Humber Carbon Capture Pipeline is not granted, all hardstanding associated with the compound and access road will be removed and the site and associated drainage will be restored to its original condition.
