Assessments to support the planning applications
We do not expect the planning applications to need an Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA), but we will confirm this with both councils via an EIA Screening Request.
Even if an EIA is not required, we will ensure the planning applications are supported by a range of appropriate and thorough surveys and assessments. We are already gathering data on the existing environment via site surveys, desk-based sources and undertaking assessments of the potential impacts on ecology, heritage, flood risk and noise.
Part of our work will be to explore opportunities for biodiversity net gain.
