How long will the drilling take?
We anticipate drilling for two to four weeks on each side of the Humber, depending on progress.
During this period, the drill will operate continuously, for 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. The planning applications will be supported by a noise assessment and a range of measures will be put in place to ensure that any nighttime working, and any noise from our operations is minimised.
Overall, we expect to be on sites for around eight months – this includes the time to set up the compounds and access roads.
